Sunday afternoon, August 24. The engineer wanted to take a drive to scout out camping spots. We found many beautiful spots on an near the river. Due to the recent rains, there were plenty of mud puddles for hubby to drive through, splashing the entire car including the roof full of mud. So much that he stalled the car.
When I said that morning I wanted to go hiking, this was not exactly what I had in mind, but we ended up walking home with 2 dogs and a baby on hubby's shoulders. Beautiful day for walking, we saw all sorts of wildflowers, some of which had pods the size of my fist.
